LEED-NC Changes Proposed

As a “minor revision”—2.x release as opposed to 3.0—this version will not include any totally new credits. Many of the proposed changes are relatively minor, and are intended to incorporate into the core document adjustments that have been in effect as a result of credit interpretations. Some proposed changes are quite substantial, however. These are outlined in the following table. And some changes that appear minor, such as updating a reference standard to a more current version, may have significant ramifications for credit implementation. Whether or not these changes survive into the balloting process will depend in part on how they are received during this comment period, which concludes at the end of February 2005.
