LEEDuser Comes to Greenbuild “Live and In-Person”

Brattleboro, VT (October 26, 2009)

Ready for a LEED jam session unlike any other? Visitors to Booth #1652 at Greenbuild in Phoenix will get to experience “live and in-person” the interaction and advice that’s usually available only online at LEEDuser.com.

Over the two-and-a-half days of LEEDuser Live and In-Person, many of LEEDuser’s cohort of Guest Experts will be on hand to give short presentations on the lessons they’ve learned about how best to approach key LEED credits, similar to the commentary and review available on LEEDuser.com. Conference attendees will be able to talk with LEED experts, as well as having the opportunity to ask questions and share tips from their own project experience. Tips and questions will be physically “posted” to the giant message board representing LEEDuser’s online forum, and everyone will have a chance to add their own answers.

Responding to the need for comprehensive help with the new LEED rating systems that’s based on real-world experience, LEEDuser is officially opening for business at Greenbuild. The launch follows a beta-testing period in which over 3,000 people registered to use the site and inaugurated the user forums with hundreds of substantive questions and suggestions for LEED implementation.

Over 10,000 individual tips and action steps in LEEDuser’s “Getting it Done” section guides users to success with credits in the LEED 2009 rating systems. Guest experts from fifteen leading national sustainable design and LEED consulting firms are reviewing the site’s contents and responding to comments, and many of these experts will be Live and In Person at booth #1652.
